INTERVIEWS & PODCASTING
I created a new podcast called Music Mondays, produced with KCSU FM, where I discussed new music with artists we represent at the station. I was also a guest on a podcast called "Pass the Aux," where I brought in my own selection of country music and discussed the importance of the genre with a rock music fanatic.
LIFETIMES RADIO SHOW
Lifetimes is a radio show I hosted at 90.5 FM KCSU in Fort Collins, Colorado. The main premise of this show was to go through the musical timeline of a new subject every week. Within the span of two hours, we explored music from the beginning of their life all the way to what they were listening to that morning.
MUSIC NEWSCASTS
At KCSU, our News Directors hosted a twice-weekly news show called the Rocky Mountain Review. As the Music Director, I was invited to talk about music news on the show, including new albums and throwbacks. These segments were pre-recorded and aired on the show live.
CONCERT CALENDAR
Airing three times per day, the Concert Calendar highlighted local shows happening that night. Local businesses sponsored the calendar every week and were promoted on-air.
MUSIC RECORDING & MIXING
As the teaching assistant for Colorado State University's Audio Production and Editing course, I instructed students on how to record and mix music. I booked two local bands and we recorded four songs each for them. We then mixed the songs using Adobe Audition and put out two EPs for the bands.
